Small scale, low key and totally in keeping with Minchinhampton's architecture and character.

For everyone in Minchinhampton - preserving our heritage, an educational space, and a lovely place to be.
|
Supporting local amenities - helping towards new classroom space for Minchinhampton School.
|
We are a local family with children at Minchinhampton School. The Minch Orchard Project was born from our desire to provide a home for our family, and show that new homes could be built in Minchinhampton in a low key and sustainable way, thoroughly in keeping with the character of the town, and with real benefits to the community.
Our proposal is for a small cluster of five new homes on Well Hill. The landscape led design is based around a farmstead, fully sympathetic to the Cotswold vernacular. Through these new homes we will be able to give an acre of land to be used as a community orchard, planting rare local apple varieties, increasing biodiversity and opening up a lovely space for community use. We will also be able to make a contribution of £75k to Minchinhampton School towards much needed new infrastructure. The majority of the field will remain as seasonal grazing.
